thankful.

Let the "end of the year madness" begin. For whatever reason, during the last two weeks of class professors think it's a great to assign more tests and projects than a single person can handle. I foresee many sleepless nights in my future followed by a grande Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks. In the middle of all the craziness, I've had to take a minute to step back and realize how how unbelievably blessed I am. In the last week or so, many great things have happened in my life.

I am very thankful to say that I received a summer internship offer at Warner Music Nashville. I have been dreaming of interning with such a successful label in Nashville since I was in high school. I may or may not have done a little dance or two around my room after I heard the good news. This opportunity is such a blessing. I'm still am having a hard time believing that I am even qualified for this position. I will be interning in the publicity department at Warner Music; how great does that sound?

It's official, I'm living in a house next year. A real house, not an apartment, but a place with a front porch and everything. I don't think that I can contain my excitement. Besides having the greatest roommates in the world, our new house is fabulous. I am obviously most excited about having our very own  front porch. I hope to have a beautiful hammock by the time August rolls around (cough cough Ryan Bell cough cough).

I've been reminded of the wonderful friends that I have. It's easy to take people for granted when you are comfortable around them. My friends and family are incredible; I am  guilty of not telling them how great I think they are. I love figuring out why God puts certain people in our lives at certain times.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't always remember to count my blessings. But after a week filled with so much happiness, I can easily recognize all the things that God has done for me. How great is He!
